Store Message

Thanks everyone for your support of our custom knits.  We look forward to 2024 being a great year here at The Knit Tree.   As Sharon Nani, owner, prepares for retirement, she is training her son, Ken to knit the items in the online store, plus the ones that were removed.  Ken is going to take over The Knit Tree and its equipment so we can continue to offer these unique custom knits to our customers. Ken is not new to machine knitting - he earned his high school and college spending money by filling orders back in the 1990's, and has continued to help in maintaining the equipment.  Ken is creative in his own rights with his "Custom Wood and Land Works" business where he falls the timber, prepares the lumber and creates unique wood items and projects: custom storage sheds, fences, decks ect.  So we may add new catagories to this web site when the time arrives.  SO LOOK FORWARD TO ADDING THE CAMO KNITS BACK INTO THE ONLINE STORE THIS YEAR.

Salmon Design Featured on this Native Baby Receiving Blanket and Cap Set
$55.00
SKU: babyset_salmon1

The Featured Native design is Salmon.  The blanket has two colors on the band edges, but it is white on white in the center in an embossed effect. This way the "Baby" remains the "Main Focus".

The Cap is knit in the same two colors that are on the blanket edges.

Pacific Northwest(salmon) blanket and cap set

Product Review: Pacific Northwest(salmon) blanket and cap set Dear Sharon~ I am so pleased with the above mentioned set~ the Pacific Northwest traditional design is represented around the blanket, and cap borders; the colors are bold while holding the traditional blessing, "keeping the baby in the center". The blanket and cap are well hand-crafted, and made with excellent materials. I have searched for a Native American crafted product site....that also supports cottage businesses. The price for the set is below other similar items that I found. Your courtesy in answering my numerous questions, went well beyond "customer service". I will definitely be a return shopper.
